Bean with Bacon Soup

8 ounces (200 grams) smoked bacon

3 cans (15 ounce-400 grams each) great northern beans

1 cup diced carrots

1 cup diced celery

2 cloves garlic (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)

1 cup yellow onions, chopped

4 cups chicken broth

1 can tomato sauce or puree (not ketchup)

salt and pepper

Brown bacon and chop. Still in all ingredients and heat through.
