Sausage, American Style

1 1/2 pound (700 grams) ground pork (pork mince)

1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs (thyme, marjoram, summer savory)

1 1/2 teaspoon pepper (optional)

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon red pepper or 1/8 teaspoon ground chilis

3/4 tablespoon sage

1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)

Mix spices in a bowl. Wearing rubber gloves, mix the spices into the raw meat with your fingers. Form patties and fry until fully cooked.
