Homemade Taco Seasoning

This makes the equivilent of 1 1/4 oz package taco seasoning mix:

1 tablespoon minced dried onions or 1 teaspoon powdered onion
2 teaspoons chili powder or 1/8 teaspoon ground chilis
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon cumin
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or more if you like it HOT)

Stir and use as you would a taco seasoning packet. Great for Quick Bean Soup, Nachos, Tacos, etc.
